About Children's Diseases Foundation

The Children's Diseases Foundation (CDF) is a nonprofit public benefit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Its purposes are to conduct, assist, raise money for, save and invest money for and/or provide financial support for:

the provision of health care, disease prevention and wellness services to and for children in the United States and throughout the world; and
the performance of research, education and other activities in the field of childhood diseases in the United States and throughout the world.

Funds raised through CDF are distributed to a number of children's hospitals, care facilities and organizations in cities such as Washington DC, Philadelphia, Oakland, Chicago and Detroit as well as to international organizations that fight children's diseases.

By visiting CDF and its sponsors, you can help ensure that the neediest of sick children get the help they need.

The Children's Diseases Foundation is seeking a determination that it is exempt from taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and that it is an organization to which contributions may be given which are deductible within the limitations of Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code. If for any reason The Children's Diseases Foundation does not obtain such a determination, your contribution will be distributed to an organization recognized under such sections the purpose of which is the promotion of children's health.
